Sing Street

Sing Street on Broadway

The New York Times says, “A BOY PRESSES ‘PLAY’ AND THE WORLD GOES AWAY. That everyday magic act takes on fresh, senses-stirring life in ‘Sing Street’.”

Based on John Carney’s 2016 film, the new musical explores the power of first love and music against the backdrop of 1980s Dublin, where 16-year-old Conor turns to music to escape troubles at home and impress a mysterious girl. The musical features a New Wave score from Carney and Gary Clark, a book by Tony winner Enda Walsh, and choreography by Sonya Tayeh. Tony winner Rebecca Taichman directs.

Performances at The Huntington Theatre Boston.
